Compensation and Benefits

Total compensation is the sum of all cash and non-cash compensation paid to a Staff Member.  It includes salaries, cash bonuses, benefit programs, costs of training and education and all other items of value provided to any Staff Member.

Total Compensation Philosophy

Spectrum’s Total Compensation Philosophy is based on these key principles.

  • Base salaries should be at market, provided performance is appropriate
  • Profits are only generated by people and productivity
  • If we are highly profitable, we will share aggressively
  • Above-market cash compensation will only come from profits
