SPECTRUM CONSULTANT KEVIN E. BOERCKER HONORED WITH TOP ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FROM ASPPA
Tacoma, WA, September 3, 2008 – Pension Consultant Kevin E. Boercker of Spectrum Pension Consultants, Inc., has been awarded the Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award by the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA), a national professional society of benefits professionals. Boercker received the award, which recognizes outstanding academic achievement, for his exceptional performance on the Defined Contribution-3 (DC-3) examination this spring.
“I am truly honored to be recognized with this award,” said Boercker, who joined Spectrum in 2002 and is responsible for internal and external consulting, management of pension industry trends, and development of pension applications.
“Kevin’s score represents the highest achievement nationwide for all test takers during the spring examination window. It is a stellar accomplishment and we are all very proud of him,” said Yannis P. Koumantaros, marketing director and chief consultant.
The award is presented in honor of the late Martin Rosenberg, a Fellow of ASPPA, who served on the Education and Examination Committee and as General Chair for the association.
Boercker will receive his award at a ceremony during the ASPPA Annual Conference Oct. 19-22 in Washington, D.C. The award includes complimentary registration for the conference.
Koumantaros and Boercker also have been selected to co-present a session on Retirement Income Adequacy at the conference.
