Petros P. Koumantaros is a Principal, the Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum Pension Consultants, Inc.  He became the Company’s second CEO effective December 23, 2005.  Petros served on the Board of Directors since 2003 and joined the firm as a common-law employee in August 2005.

Petros' practice specialties include all forms of employer-sponsored deferred compensation plan arrangements.  He collaborates extensively with senior employer decision-makers in every aspect of employee benefit plan design and administration.

Petros is an accomplished industry professional and a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), where he holds the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) Professional Designation.  He serves on the ASPPA Technology Committee and helps to deliver electronic educational content to more than 6,000 employee benefits professionals nationally.  For the past three years, Petros has also been active in the SunGard Relius Executive Forum, where his contributions influence software technology solutions for thousands of employers and over 2 million retirement plan participants.

Petros is a member of the Seattle #4 Rotary Club, Fircrest Golf Club, and The Rainier Club.

Prior to joining Spectrum, Petros was a Program Manager with Intel Corporation.  Petros earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
