
Over his career, Brendan has advised a number of the world’s best-known global companies in many aspects of human resources management. Prior to joining Spectrum, Brendan was Chief Executive of HCM International. For most of his professional life, Brendan has worked and lived internationally, dealing with HR, compensation and benefits management issues in more than 60 countries.
Brendan’s professional activities enabled him to simultaneously pursue other passions, including teaching, writing and public speaking. Over the years, he has authored or co-authored more than 100 professional papers, articles and reference texts covering topics ranging from financial and actuarial mathematics to information technology, compensation and benefits; HR management; business performance metrics; and software selection and implementation. He has given more than 600 public presentations and speeches, testified before national legislative bodies; and served on governmental commissions.
At various times, Brendan has advised national governments on aspects of employment policy and legislation. Prior to beginning his professional career, Brendan received his BSc in Economics and Finance, pursued post-graduate studies in Law and served in the United States Army.
